Emily Guzzardi

BOARD MEMBER

Emily Guzzardi brings a multidisciplinary approach to the Vegan Hospitality board, with a background spanning culinary arts, entrepreneurship, food systems advocacy and healthcare. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, Emily has worked across culinary education, management, operations, and customer experience.

Across her work, Emily brings strong interest and insight into systems creation, campaign strategy, problem-solving, communication, and behavioral science—especially as they relate to shifting culture and making more compassionate choices easier, more appealing, and more accessible.

Emily holds a Master of Social Work from Fordham University and currently works as a hospital chaplain at UCSF Health. She is also on the board of Physicians Against Red Meat and volunteers extensively within the animal advocacy movement. Her work is grounded in a deep appreciation for hospitality as a form of service: generous, thoughtful, and attuned to the needs of both people and the broader world we share.
